BEST Santa ever in Sedona. This guy didn't need to stuff a pillow in his coat. He was all real.Benson would not take his eyes off Santa. That man looked far too suspicious! haha.
Ps: Funny side story when we were walking around Sedona I asked B: "Do we look douchey (yes, that's my made up word) with our sons in matching Nike coats?"
His reply, "Uhh, yeah. Benson's in a corduroy blazer, what do you think?!"
We have been all kinds of sick around here. No me gusta nada. Max got croup in the beginning of November who passed it on to Benson who then shared it with James which then turned head cold for me and then head cold for Brandon a few days later (yeah, that totals about a month of sick). After that was gone and done we all decided to enjoy the stomach flu together. Once again, it began with Max then on to Benson...who then passed it to me and Brandon. We decided to make a romantic date night out of it and hug the toilet all night long together, taking turns, hour after hour until the wee hours of the morning. That night after Brandon threw up for the ?th time and I laid in bed listening to him, he fell back into bed with a groan and I started chatting away. I talked about who knows what and continued on asking his opinion about this and that. After a few seconds of silence and as I lay pondering some additional thoughts Brandon said, "Well, aren't you a Chatty Kathy?!" I started laughing and he said, "We're having a full fledged slumber party aren't we?!"
It was awesome.
The next morning we laid in bed and watched "Waiting For Forever" with Tom Sturridge and Rachel Bilson. It was sweet. Brandon told me that being sick together was fun--at least the together part, anyway.

That was Thursday.
On Friday afternoon we decided to muster our strength and head to Sedona. James' kindergarten teacher (sweetheart of all sweethearts) offered us a two night stay at her condo. Who would say no to such a generous offer?! So, off we went and enjoyed a quick get away.
It was enjoyable but honestly a lot of work. A "quick trip" with three children is anything but quick and thoroughly enjoyable. It is always challenging but of course there are sweet moments along the way that make it worth it.

Sad being sick for forever! Glad you got to enjoy it with each other though?? Poor family. Glad you were able to get out after a month of being pinned in the house with stomach flu and croop. Love you guys!
Does having sick kids get any better with time? The one and only time McCartney has had the stomach flu was a week of hell for me. Please give me something to look forward to when they get it........ On a more positive note-You guys are a match made in heaven ;)
