My oh my! It has been one long event filled month away from you, dear blog. There is so much to tell...
On July 16th we pulled away from our drive-way at 5am and began the trek to Oregon to visit my mom and dad and family.
We stopped in Sacramento that evening (13 hour drive) and visited my sister, Nikki and her family for one night. The next morning we arrived in Talent, Oregon (20 minutes north of the Oregon/Cali border) and greeted my Mom and Dad with hugs and kisses all around. They treated us like royalty. Me and B got the master bedroom perfectly equipped with a dark, quiet walk in closet for Benson's pack n play. There is something SO comforting about having accommodations for your baby. When he sleeps well, he is happy and I am happy.
We enjoyed celebrating my dear, life long friend and cousin, Sara's marriage to Shane (darling, darling boy).
My Auntie B requested that mom and I make the Texas Caviar for the wedding reception. They dropped the ingredients and we chopped...
And chopped...AND chopped.
Can you believe it?!
We enjoyed dollar Tuesdays bowling at Roxyannes:

We enjoyed dollar Tuesdays bowling at Roxyannes:
The kids playing in the "water feature" (as Brandon called it)...uhhh, honey it's a river. I know we don't have many of those in Arizona but they do exist :)
My Mom's sister, Mary Anne, Jessica (my sis), Mom, and Melissa (my cousin Tanner's wife) watching the kids play at Lythia.
Benson napping on Nan one afternoon at Emigrant Lake in Ashland.
Me and B snuck away one night and enjoyed dessert with cousins:
Brandon annoyed at me for taking a picture of him and his blueberry tart with lavender, blueberry ice cream.
PJ party at Puck's...
No better way to start your day than with a fresh donut...maple bar, please!
After two weeks in Oregon we headed to Sparks, Nevada to visit my friend Rae...See next post.
