Father's Day

Life is oh so good when you are surrounded by devoted, faithful, phenomenal Fathers.

This man is everything he promised me he would be and so much more.
Our sons don't know how good they have it...but I do ;)
Brandon is a talented artist, a closet home decor/architecture/landscape design nerd, rockin' commercial real estate broker (number 3 in his company this month--out of 50!), lover of music (Chilli Peppers/Kravitz/Coldplay/Cake/The Killers/The White Stripes/Phoenix), sweet tooth (sour patch kids/swedish fish), mountain biker, ping ponger, knife collector, Gospel doctrine junky, adventurer, lover, faithful friend, & confidant.

This is Brandon's Father, Mike. He is one of the most selfless men I know.
He is a closet poet, romantic, lover of Diet Coke, devoted to country (retired Colonel in the Army), his lovely wife--Sue, he loves his motorcycle, juicy burgers, hard work, yard work, Baby Ruths and his coy pond/fountain.
Honestly, this guy is as good as they come.

Last but most definitely not the least, my Dad. Wow, this man is a fighter. He is fearless and faithful, hardworking, and tireless. Just when you think he is going to give up he comes back at you with gusto.
This guy embraces life at every stage, loves fiercely, has a generous and tender heart. He is creative, crafty, has a love of loud colored socks and pastel colored bow ties (no, seriously)! He uses things like: "Under eye lifting cream" and fancy hand lotion.
He enjoys cooking, reading, old western movies, and spending time with his sweetheart.

As uniquely different as each one of these men are they all share several common threads:

1. I love them all so very much.
2. They all love me ;)
3. Most importantly, they love God and devote themselves entirely to Him and to their families.

I am abundantly blessed.
Happy Father's Day to all the good men in the world.

Ain't that the truth... LOVE this post. Brandon still collects knives, eh? He has been like that since he was like 5 years old. I love my brother and my dad!
