Sandbox? Garden Box?

...How about nasty dirt box that sits dormant in our backyard.
The boys made wise use of it this morning.
They decided it was high time they enjoy a dirt bath.

Like I said, nasty dirt box.
It makes for a fun place to dig though...all kinds of goodies for the boys to discover: bugs, stray cat poop, dead leaves, rocks--let your imagination run wild.

Benson kept trying to swat the camera and throw dirt and rocks at me.
It was a mighty challenge for me to capture this moment.

Hi, Mom. I'd like to throw this rock at your at your face.
You don't mind, do you?

Gosh, why is this strange hole in my head so itchy...

Maybe b/c it is filled with dirt, Benson.

Max decided to pull out the big guns and dig with Daddy's shovel. No little mini garden shovel for this kid!

Happy Gardening, mud slinging, whatever you want to call it :)

Awesome! Isn't it fun when they just play with their imagination. Get out the hose!
